Description
A screwdriver-adjustable pot on the terminal end lets you raise the output to offset cable losses — no need to re-pull thicker wire or add a second supply closer to the camera.
| Adjustment range | 11 – 15 VDC |
| Output ripple | 120 mV |
| Typical setting | 12.5V for analog / TurboHD |
One shorted camera lead shouldn’t take down the other three. Over-current and short-circuit protection plus a resettable PTC fuse keep the rest of the system online.
| Outputs | 4 screw terminals |
| Per-output capacity | Up to 3A |
| Fuse | 6A PTC, self-resetting |
Why adjustable voltage matters on long runs
Copper has resistance. The longer and thinner the cable, the more voltage disappears before it reaches the camera. A fixed 12V supply can leave a distant camera running at 10V or less — the classic cause of night-time reboots when the IR array kicks in.
- Wire and power the camera at the end of the run.
- Measure DC voltage at the camera’s power input, not at the supply.
- Trigger night mode so the IR array draws its full current, then measure again.
- Adjust the output pot until the camera reads within its rated input range under IR load.
- Never exceed the camera’s maximum rated input voltage — check the camera datasheet before going above 12V.

You’ll likely need connectors
This supply terminates in screw terminals, not barrel jacks. Most cameras expect a 3.5 mm (0.13 in) male plug — so plan on pigtail adapters for the jump from terminal block to camera.
Choosing the right 4-camera supply
All three power up to four cameras at 12 VDC. What differs is voltage adjustability, noise filtering, and battery backup.
| Model | Output | Adjustable voltage | Best for |
| PS-12-DC-4C | 12 VDC @ 5A | Yes, 11–15 VDC | Long cable runs, analog / TurboHD |
| PS-12DC4KV | 12 VDC @ 5A | No | 4K cameras — adds noise filter & surge protection |
| PLK12DC4ABK | 12 VDC @ 4A | No | Sites needing battery backup (battery sold separately) |

- Verify input and output wiring polarity before applying power — reversed polarity can damage the connected device.
- After energizing, confirm the output LED is lit. If it isn’t, re-check the wiring before troubleshooting anything downstream.
- Budget your load: 5A total across four outputs, up to 3A on any single output. Add up your cameras’ draw at full IR before committing.
- Install in a ventilated location. Do not enclose the supply in a sealed box.
- Confirm each camera’s maximum input voltage before raising the output above 12V.
